Talentiva’s Managed Services Team Resolves International Compliance Hurdle For Silicon Valley Giant
Client: Fortune 500 Publicly-Traded IT Company
Location: Silicon Valley
Business Challenge: The Global Stock Plan Services group had a challenge on their hands. They had just received information from Canada that there was a new requirement for Canadian employees who were eligible for the Ontario Research Employee Stock Option Credit (ORESO). As part of this requirement, all the eligible employees had to fill out an online form with their detailed stock information including stock options exercises and grants that needed to be supplied by the Global Stock Plan services group (GSPS) and the deadline to comply was in a few weeks.
Solution: Given the tight deadline the GSPS team pursued the only alternative they thought was available, which was to find personnel who could manually enter hundreds of these forms and send them out to all employees affected. Talentiva was contacted to supply some personnel to assist. While evaluating the requirement, Talentiva informed the GSPS team of another possible approach which would allow them to automate the process of filling out the online PDF as well as generate the emails that needed to be sent to the individual employees.
Result: After meeting with the client team and agreeing on the approach, Talentiva then designed the solution and developed the ORESO UTILITY and met the deadline for the distribution of the Forms on time and on budget. The utility is still in use today and has been modified to address similar requirements within the GSPS team.

Business Challenge: Fortune 2000 IT company needed assistance in their Professional services team in several different areas. They were looking for an outsourced solution for Project Management and Project coordination to assist their Enterprise and Commercial implementation teams. In addition they were looking for a Senior level storage engineer who do application level installations on their Storage Platforms such as Microsoft Exchange for their customers. In addition to the above requirements they were looking for a Technical writing service to provide documentation services for SOW’s, User Guides, RFP, and other Technical documents that they needed as part of their Professional services offering.
Solution: Talentiva responded to these requirements with a Hybrid approach of managed services and talent acquisition services. We placed several project managers and coordinators along with a Sr. Level Storage engineer who specialized in Microsoft Exchange implementations. In addition, our team provided a technical writing service that they could use in an on-demand basis and provided a full-time resource to work directly with the Professional Services team for the larger projects. We have been providing these services for several years and have modified the program several times to accommodate the client’s ever changing business climate with innovative approaches to their requirements. Recently we were asked to partner and assist in revamping the on-demand technical writing service into a company-wide implementation for their Quote Desk which would be responsible for the handling of SOW and Quoting process for their Domestic US customers.
Result: We brought in a Business Process Engineer who met with the client’s management teams and developed the detailed quoting and SOW generation process. We then provided some key staff members to help operate and maintain the process which has been successfully rolled out throughout the US. As part of this on-going relationship, several of our contractors have converted to full-time employees and we continue to work with the client and the professional services organization in delivering Project management, Project coordination, and Technical Writing services in support of their key enterprise and commercial clients.
